Swine Flu?.......

The Swine Flu has been the talk of the world for a couple of weeks now. Several cases have been found in about 10 states, including New York, Pennsylvania, and little old Delaware. Everyone is afraid of getting it and no one knows who is caring it which causes a lot of concerns and panics. Several students from the University of Delaware are being tested because they traveled to Cancun, Mexico several weeks ago unaware of the danger and now they are recognizing some symptoms. There are 109 confirmed cases in the United States. Median age of patients is 16. Everyone can get it and no one really knows what it is! Feel free to comment and post your opinions.

  1. I heard that the original four students at UD that had the Swine Flu had went to New Jersey and got it from there, and that they didn't travel out of the country, however I heard that a long time ago. Who knows? This whole swine flu situation is getting ridiculous.

  2. I think the babble about the swine flu is sooo stupid.
People are only dying in Mexico becasue they live in impoverished cities and cannot afford healthcare.
Swine flu is pretty much the same thing as the flu except your symptoms are mildly worse.
Schools don't need to be shut down.

  3. I'm getting sick of this talk about swine flu. over thirty thousand people die a year from the normal flu and it is not out of the ordinary just because it has the label "swine" flu.

  12. more people die of the regular flu every year so just because a little baby died from it, its not that big of a deal. a baby's immune system cant hold a flu like that. swine flu is not that big of a deal!!

  14. This is a problem, but it seems to me that it's one thats extremely overstated. I mean it did killed a lot of mexican citizens however, the normal flu would do the same thing in mexico due to their extremely poor health care and standard of living. And i don't think it is a big deal.

  16. The difference in swine flu is the combination of bird, human and pig flu. Although its more complex then the normal flu, it is still the same outcomes.
